Young people

Music for everyone

The aim of the Orchestre de Paris is to increase initiatives in order to make music ever more accessible to all. The integration into the Philharmonie will enable this by means of this season’s cultural and education activities.
Everyone, with or without a connection to classical music, will find something to enrichen their experience:
  • Instrumental playing
  • Shared musical encounters

Family Concerts

A musical discovery from 4 to 94 years old!

Each season, the Orchestre de Paris offers concerts specifically created to share the pleasure of music with the whole family.
Symphonic concerts in the Main concert hall of the Philharmonie, musical tales or workshops: all are conceived to help open young ears to the wonder and language of music.

Pupils and teachers

From primary to university

Educational concerts, dress rehearsals, evening concerts priced at 5 euros: there are many ways to find out more about the life of an orchestra. From pre-school to university, but also via conservatoires, there is something for everyone to discover.

Training the next generations

Passing on excellence

There are a number of crossover projects with our partners such the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris (CRR), the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt, involving courses, master classes, academies or workshops. Supervised by the musicians of the Orchestre de Paris who accompany young musicians undergoing professional training or apprenticeships, all these initiatives are part of the Orchestre de Paris' long-term commitment to training tomorrow’s musicians.

Engaging with the community

Reaching out to music-deprived audiences

The Orchestre de Paris collaborates continually with a variety of community partners, organisations and institutions in order to get involved in life outs .
